Draft Implementation Rules of PRC Labor Contract Law (Consultation Paper) circulated by State Council on 9 May 2008

After a quick look, some points that drew my attention:

-          Articles wrt. the termination of employment mirror those in the LCL. (hmmm)

-          Note Article 9 on calculation of term of employment

-          Note Article 18 on remuneration during probation

-          Article 19 on special training fund

-          Article 21 on senior management eligible for non-compete

-          Article 26 on invalidity of existing provisions in an employment contract contradicting with the LCL wef. 1 Jan 2008

-          Article 38 restrictions on use and return of seconded workers (note: too stringent)

In a nutshell, the Draft Implementation Rules did clarify a few things and has specific guidance in relation to termination, compensation and retroactivity. However, some clauses, for example those set out above might be subject to debate or beefing up.

Feedback should be reverted back to State Council by 20 May 2008. I’m wondering who will send in their feedback…say American Chamber of Commerce?

如果不用做手头一份工，我也会效仿众名媛去rehab check in一下：

奥斯卡的几坨电影，除了la vien rose和sweeney todd外，其他的不巧都被我看齐了。（谢谢golden village给汇丰持卡人滴折扣。。。）

no country for old man和there will be blood相比前者的‘坐得住’指数更高。主要是那个疯子杀手快把我这个胆小的吓死了，非等他被XX(no spoiler!)才松口气安慰自己晚上可以睡着了。据说演这坨疯子滴人说，他在剧中滴发型是他剪过滴最最最变态的。（我作证：真的很变态）

there will be blood除了oilman的个人魅力（80%来自他滴英国口音），那坨娃娃脸滴牧师太逗乐了。难道是对天主教的讽刺才让他没被提名？

juno好看，片子不长，老少咸宜。16岁的小姑娘处理问题如此地成熟让人甘拜下风。。。说起来，之前看过一个对本片编剧的采访，这坨女人做脱衣舞娘出道滴，强人啊。

至于atonement么，挺像我们冯梦龙三言二拍中出来的故事的，警戒世人：务必要谨慎使用调情语言。即使使用cunt这样的字眼也请不要落在纸上，不然下场就是一对偷痴情男女生生被拆散啊。

和一个新航的机长闲聊

1. The Savages

电影未必需要高于生活，只要还原生活就够好看了。

生活的难题呈现递进式越变越难，而终极难题将是如何面对生老病死中的老、病、死。

在我的‘坐不坐得住’的电影分级制中，本片属于最高级——坐到不想走的那一类。

2. 我的Michael Clayton笑点是:

那个U North的Chief Legal Counsel 听了Michael的履历后鄙视道: he’s been there for 17 years and he’s not a partner?! 同行看到这个或许都会会心一笑吧，虽然这句台词本身并不好笑。

如果这部片子还给我留下什么印象的话，那就是演这坨chief legal counsel的女人太抢戏了……

3. 3:10 to Yuma

买票的时候我一直把片名念错成 3 to 10 Yuma….

好看，不光是因为拉塞尔克劳和克里斯丁贝尔的忧郁的眼神的关系。剧情没讲头，一讲就没得看了。总之看到最后我哭了。

4. Eastern Promises 有点儿虎头蛇尾，不，应该是让人摸不着首尾才对。

浓重的俄国音和灰暗的色调让我直到电影过半才意识到故事是在——伦敦——发生。说起来伦敦真是个神奇的地方。不过更神奇的是多伦多——恐怕谁也没料到Shoot ‘Em Up 这种超现实的酷片会在那儿拍吧。

5. The Assasination of Jesse James…

绝对属于”坐不住”的范畴……将近三小时的片子，如坐针毡。我都佩服自己坐到剧终才走，毅力啊！本片和去年看的安娜与安娜有得一拼，那也是个锻炼人毅力的烂片。

最近似乎看太多夕阳红题材的片子了。。。

拍的演的都挺好，剧本也好——改编自Alice Munro这坨猛人的书能不好吗….

I like Serena, despite the fact that she accidentally slept with best friend’s boyfriend (spoiler) , i like the way she talks- the tone is low and soft. Just adorable.

医生：为什么会留在新加坡工作呢，是因为你丈夫在这里工作吗？

医生（看了看病历卡）：哦，对不起，你还没结婚。

几点感想：

1、新加坡果然比我想象的还封建——剪得真够干净的。

2、说不上好还是不好，可李安把片子拍得很精致是事实。虽然同样取景上海的《华丽世家》——只是日剧而已哦——也拍的很精致。

3、情节很弱——没办法，这是张爱玲闭门造车的问题。

4、以前提到的李安采访报道看来是对张小说非常另类的解读——记者或是李安自己。不要跟我说胡兰成——他只是个文官儿好不好。人易先生可是特务头子。再说胡某追求张小姐的时候也是正统才子佳人那一套，哪有上来就SM的。

5、陈冲这样又smart又美的上海女人倒像是活脱脱从张爱玲小说里跑出来的。

6、王佳芝绝对是给世界上一类人敲警钟：不知道自己要什么的人，下场会很惨。（比如我）
